What Hounslow Council does about pests in Isleworth
Isleworth and Osterley come under Hounslow Council, which charges private households a set price per pest. Hounslow's charges for work booked from 1 April 2026 put rats in a garden at £155 and rats or mice indoors at £180, with up to three visits spread over a 35-day programme; Hounslow charges £300 for bed bugs, for two visits covering a maximum of two rooms.
Two details are worth knowing before you book the council. The fee covers treatment only, so blocking the hole a rat used is quoted separately at commercial rates. And any glue boards must be taken up before the officer arrives, because the council cannot lawfully use them in homes.
